    Mert Maritime Transportation and Ship Agency has been established in 1947 by Fehmi Recep Zorer in Izmir Turkey. Mert Shipping is serving more than 400 vessels per year during their loading and discharging operation in all ports of Turkey, which assist to create having a good relation with owners, charterers, shippers and receivers in world wide, and it keeps our chartering and brokering department preferable. Mert Shipping is highly experienced in bulk cargoes and bulk vessels, and exclusively serving some of cements and clinker shippers in Izmir Turkey, for more than 25 years. Our agency department handles eighty percent of Turkish flag vessels, some of whom are closely related ship owners in port of Izmir. Also we have many family related ship owners and charterers which we are serving them as full agency services at all over Turkish ports, Dardanelles / Bosporus transit agency service, chartering/brokering, bunker and all kind of ship supplies, ship repairs, forwarding / stevedoring/tallying.
